Vintage Estates Realty merges with
The Lachicotte Company
I am pleased to officially announce some exciting news for us here at Vintage Estates Realty. Negotiations have been successfully completed to bring about the merger of Vintage Estates Realty and The Lachicotte Company. This is a move that we believe will make a stronger company and allow us to provide better services and products to all our clients in a very competitive real estate market. This new partnership will bring together a strong local name brand (Lachicotte) together with a globally respected brand affiliation (Christie’s International Real Estate), to create a dynamic force in the Pawleys Island Real Estate and Myrtle Beach Real Estate markets. This merger also brings together two prominent families, (Lachicotte and Cooper) who have been an integral part of the local community for many years and who have also worked together on successful projects, including the development of Wachesaw Plantation and other notable business ventures. In addition, we plan to relocate our Myrtle Beach office to a higher visibility location as soon as it is practical.
The companies will combine under the name, THE LACHICOTTE COMPANY, and will remain an Exclusive Affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate. We have integrated the Vintage colors and lion head logo to give us a tasteful blend of the two entities thereby retaining familiar aspects of both. To facilitate this growth in Pawleys Island, the rental and property service departments of Lachicotte have been relocated into what was the Greenskeeper florist space, while the main building will house the increased sales staff, marketing and accounting departments. We are in the midst of making those renovations and hope to move all personnel within the next 30 days. The merge however officially begins on Sunday, April 1st.
Please make note that our Web-site will also change over to www.Lachicotte.com effective April 1st as well.
