Halloween in Myrtle Beach

Halloween in Myrtle Beach is a spooky, fun time and there is no shortage of events to entertain all ages of revelers.

For the little ones:

Wee Ones Boo Bash at the Children’s Museum of South Carolina is a not-so-scary event for youngsters. October 28 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

Howl-O-Scream in North Myrtle Beach features hayrides and pumpkin painting from 5-8 pm on October 29 in McLean Park.

Trick-or-Treating for kids will be taking place on October 31 at Broadway at the Beach Halloween Celebration for Kids from 5-7 pm and at The Market Common from 6-7 pm.

The Murrells Inlet Marshwalk will host a trick-or-treat from 5-6 pm on October 31 with a best kids’ costume award and Halloween at Barefoot Landing from 5-7 pm has a costume contest for both kids and pets.

For older children and adults:

Celebrity Square of Terror at Broadway at the Beach hosts a halloween party and costume contest on Saturday, October 29 from 7pm to 2am.

Ripley’s Haunted Adventure features Oldtime Hollywood Horror with your favorite Hollywood ghosts and villains inside the spooky attraction on Ocean Boulevard. Held October 28-31 from 2pm to 10pm.

Visions of Horror teamed up with Dr. Screams and created a haunted path of zombies and other terrifying creatures at Myrtle Waves from October 13-31 starting at 6pm.

The Fear Factory’s scary figures will horrify you as you make your way through the 40,000 square feet transformed into a frightful maze. Open daily through Halloween from 7pm to late night at Suck Bang Blow 4-Corners just south of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet.

Located a few miles from Myrtle Beach in Conway at the Lower River Warehouse, which legend has it is haunted, is a popular attraction transformed each year to create Terror Under the Bridge in downtown Conway October 27-October 31.

Join in The Conway Ghost Walk: Spirits of the Lowcountry as storytellers take you on a tour of the town while they share spooky tales and local folklore about the town  of Conway. October 27-29, 2011 at 7pm.
