However, when you’ve potentially reached the point when your round of golf has become mundane and you don’t find yourself being challenged anywhere else, come to the Reserve Golf Club.  A 7,179 yard piece of artwork lies ahead of you daring you to take out your driver and dig your cleats in.  With a par of 72, covering a world renowned course designed by the Great White himself, Greg Norman, the Reserve Golf Club offers a challenge to any player of any level.  The lack of many things considered commonplace by most like cart paths and hole signs at the tee boxes, Norman shows off his penchant for minimalism.  Also, it’s said that homage was paid to Augusta National golf club with the choice to have no rough throughout the entire course.  Even the traps are world class as the grounds crew keeps them almost fluffy; a tribute to both diligent upkeep and some crisp white sand that just isn’t found on most golf courses. 

As it is one of only two private clubs in the Grand Strand, it has been in very rare company from the start.  The club offers two different types of memberships, the Reserve and Golf.  Both offer fantastic access to one of the most renowned courses on the Eastern Seaboard but the Reserve is a bit more inclusive granting the membership holder unlimited green fees year round.  The Golf membership is typically aimed at a crowd that might not use the facilities quite as much, allowing up to 26 green fees and charging slightly less monthly fees.
